The
ESE was first concieved in a converstaion over dinner one spring
evening in Prague between Andreas Wolf and me (Scott
Friderich).
We needed a way to get a first pass estimate of Europe's
Chritianess, and we felt that this survey was the best first step. From the beginning, the ESE has been a team effort of the European Missions Research Group (emRG), and special thanks goes out to this network and especially to Andreas Wolf and Paul Dzubinski for being key players in the design and implementation of the survey itself. Furthermore, I need to give thanks to my dear friends Gabriella Nagy and Julia Toth for all their help with data entry. And finally, thank you Dena for all your support and researcher's insite into this project. I am sure that this survey raises many questions about the spiritual status of Europe and the role of research in reaching these millions of souls with the Gospel. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns about this study: scottf@friderich.net. |
